This version of Ryan was too far gone to help me. The message had been recorded before he was in charge of everything, and now that he the master of the game his impartiality was clearly his overarching feature.

“Okay, okay…” I said. “I’m going to go with Remote Possession.” They each had their own strengths, but Death Touch would force me to be on the front lines in order to make the most of it, and Hunter's Knowledge sounded like I’d constantly be second guessing myself about whether I’d gathered enough of a map to make an informed strike or not.

Remote Possession was the best of both worlds, allowing me to pull some strings in the background when I had a chance and yet still play an active role when the need arose.
